Hey, I’m Hope, I’m 21, a disabled self portrait artist and poet finding a way through within art and the wonder of human connection. I believe my work holds its unique value due to living a very different experience as a young teen, leading into where I am now in early adulthood.
“Hope is the perfect poet for the moment because she represents a demographic that is being screwed in our country right now (young, female, disabled) and yet has the life experience to teach most of us how to get a grip and deal with long term isolation and restriction through her insightful, wistful and imaginative writing. Her willing vulnerability will show any reader a mirror to their own and gently guide them through it”
- Gillian Gamble, artist and mentor.
